Handmade Butter in A Jiffy!
Butter is one of my favourite things, it’s amazing in even its simplest form - on a warm slice of toast! It’s so easy to make, and you can control the amount of salt you put in.

Instructions
Step 1
First, add your double cream to your bowl and begin to whisk with your hand mixer (you can also use a stand mixer)
Step 2
Pretty soon it will become whipped, keep going until the cream splits. This will take around half an hour so stick with this, it will resemble scrambled eggs and there will also be liquid in the bowl, this is buttermilk - keep this and use in another recipe such as pancakes.
Step 3
Next, put the solids in a colander and rinse the residual butter milk off of it
Step 4
Now it’s time to shape it! You can use butter boards or simply shape it with your hands.
Step 5
Top with salt, I used Fluer De Sel and use within a week
