Ingredients
8 servings
¾ cupsour cream
¾ cupmayonnaise
1 ozdry ranch dip mix
½ teaspoongarlic salt
½ cupcilantro
tightly packed may add more for fresh flavor
¾ cuppickled jalapenos
juice from jar, may add up to 1 Cup
½ cupbuttermilk
add more buttermilk to make thinner
2tomatillos
optional
2 teaspoonsfresh lime juice
optional
2 bagstortilla chips
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch dip packet, and garlic salt.
Step 2
In blender or food processor, puree cilantro and pickled jalapenos with a little juice. (If using tomatillos, blend with jalapenos and cilantro).
Step 3
Add cilantro jalapeno puree to mayo mixture.
Step 4
Stir in buttermilk until you reach desired consistency. Add fresh lime juice, if using.
Step 5
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
