Instructions
Step 1
To get started, mix two pounds of whole brussels sprouts with 1/4 cup of olive oil. Spread them onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Roast in a preheated 475° F oven for 10-12 minutes.
Step 3
While the brussels sprouts are roasting prepare the glaze.
Step 4
In a small saucepan, mix 1/4 cup maple syrup with 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and 1/4 cup of Florida’s Natural® Brand Orange Juice.
Step 5
Heat over medium heat until heated through, but don’t bring to a simmer. Remove from heat, and stir in four tablespoons of cold, cubed butter pieces.
Step 6
Remove the brussels sprouts from the oven, and use a small glass to smash each brussels sprout.
Step 7
Top with the orange juice glaze and 1/4 cup shaved parmesan cheese. Bake for another five minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
