Instructions

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF

Step 1
Cream together butter & sugar until light & fluffy.
Step 2
Scrape sides, add eggs & vanilla; beat until mixed.
Step 3
Scrape sides; add flour & baking powder. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Step 4
Scoop out a generous 1/3C of dough; roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining dough.
Step 5
Flatten cookie dough to 1/2 โ€œ so it looks similar to what your finished cookie will look like. The cookies will spread just a little bit, not much. Repeat with remaining dough.
Step 6
Arrange on 6 cookies per baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake (12-15 min.) until centers have puffed up & are no longer glossy.

Frosting

Step 8
While the cookies cool, make frosting, by whipping butter & cream cheese until smooth.
Step 9
Add powdered sugar, one cup at a time.
Step 10
Add in cocoa powder & vanilla.
Step 11
Add milk, 1T at a time, until you've reached your desired consistency.
Step 12
Add frosting to piping bag fit with a large closed star attachment. Pipe frosting onto warm cookies in a spiral, starting in center of cookie working your way out.
Step 13
Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles on top of frosting. Serve warm.
