Step 1

cook onion in saucepan with a swirl of oil over medium heat until soft and translucent

add cumin and cayenne

add stock and bring to a boil

Step 4

blend with immersion blender or in batches, one part sweet potatoes with 1 part stock.

Add salt to taste. Top with bacon.
