Instructions
Step 1
Cook the spaghetti noodles according to the box instructions. Drain well and set aside. Save about 2 cups of the water used to cook the noodles.
Step 2
Place the ground beef in the pot and add about 1/2 cup of water used to cook the noodles. Cook over medium high heat stirring often until the meat is brown and the water evaporates.
Step 3
Drizzle some olive and mix thoroughly. Add in the diced onions ad minced garlic and saute until fragrant for about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Add in the filipino-style hotdogs and bay leaves. Continue to cook for another minute.
Step 5
Add in the spaghetti sauce and banana sauce/banana ketchup and mix well. You can add 1/2 cup of water from cooking the noodles at this point to thin down the consistency (optional.) Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Step 6
To Serve: Spoon spaghetti sauce over a bed of noodles and top with your choice of cheese. I prefer to use either one of these. - shredded mozzarella cheese
- shredded Eden quick melt cheese
- grated parmesan
- shredded cheddar.
Step 7
Enjoy!
