Beef Taco Grilled Cheese Casserole is an easy casserole recipe with layers of toasted bread, cheese and ground beef tossed in salsa, chili sauce and taco seasoning.

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400F.
Step 2
Dump ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat along with a dab of margarine or butter.
Step 3
Add the diced onions to the pan with the ground beef as it's cooking.
Step 4
Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the excess grease from the pan and reduce the heat to medium-low.
Step 5
Add the salsa, chili sauce, taco seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the pan.
Step 6
Stir until all of the ground beef is coated in the sauce.
Step 7
Add the chopped green onions to the pan.
Step 8
Stir well and then turn off the heat.
Step 9
Spread margarine on all of the slices of the bread.
Step 10
Cut the slices of bread in half.
Step 11
Place half of the bread pieces, margarine side down, in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Step 12
Sprinkle 2 cups of the shredded cheese on top of the bread.
Step 13
Scoop the ground beef mixture on top of the cheese and spread it out evenly.
Step 14
Sprinkle the remaing 2 cups of cheese on top of the ground beef.
Step 15
Place the remaining bread pieces, margarine side up, on top of the cheese.
Step 16
Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole until the bread on top is golden brown. 20-24 minutes.
Step 17
Remove the casserole from the oven and serve immediately.
