Instructions
Step 1
preheat oven to 375F
Step 2
peel and core apples, cut into small slices. place the apples in a saucepan and cover with water, allow to simmer until soft
Step 3
place the stewed apple into the ovenproof container. add the extra berries if desired, put aside.
Step 4
put the butter and flour into a mixing bowl. using your fingers rub the butter into the flour until it looks like large lumps.
Step 5
add the sugar and stir well. pour the crumble mixture over the stewed apples.
Step 6
bake for 20-25 minutes until the crumble is golden brown
