½ cuproasted peanuts

Tempering
Instructions
Step 1
In a mixie, add all the listed ingredients.

Step 2
Grind to a coarse paste.
Step 3
Now add water and grind again.

Adjust water depending upon desired consistency, and keep aside.
Step 5
For the tempering, add oil in a tadka pan on a low flame. Add mustard seeds, hing, and white urad dal.

Once the mustard seeds begin to cackle, turn off the flame, and add a dried red chilli.

Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well.
Step 8
Serve with hot idlis or dosa.
