Stuffing with Sausage

Instructions

Step 1
Boil chicken broth and butter in large deep skillet.
Step 2
Remove stuffing from heat, quickly mix in stuffing box mix, and cover for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Uncover, fluff stuffing with a fork, then set aside in large bowl to dry out while continuing other cooking.
Step 4
Saute onions and celery (with a little butter), then set aside.
Step 5
Saute sausage until browned, drain, then keep on stove.
Step 6
Saute mushrooms, stir in with cooked sausage, cook together for a few minutes, then set aside.
Step 7
Add cooked sausage/mushrooms and cooked onions/celery to large bowl with cooked stuffing, and stir to combine.
Step 8
Pour entire mixture into large casserole dish.
Step 9
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes uncovered, then stir and fluff with a fork and return to oven for 15 minutes after 375 degrees uncovered.
