Instructions
Step 1
Dredge meat in mixture of flour and pepper. Brown meat in hot skillet using oil or butter.
Step 2
Add onions, garlic, and beef stock. Reduce heat, cover pan, and simmer 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Step 3
Add potatoes, carrots, and peas. Simmer 1/2 hour more covered until meat is tender.
Step 4
Add roue (6 tbsp melted butter and 6 tbsp flour - mixed together) to stew and simmer until stew thickens.
Step 5
If you increase this recipe - you also have to adjust and increase the roue or the stew will not thicken.
