Instructions

Step 1
Defrost the frozen puff pastry sheets according to the instructions on the package.
Step 2
Cut the apple into 0.5 cm cubes. Mix the apple, sugar, cinnamon power, and cornstarch in a bowl.
Step 3
Divide the softened puff pastry sheets into 4-6 pieces. Roll out the pastry sheets until they are 0.5 cm thick, and then cut the pieces into roughly 10x10 cm square shapes.
Step 4
Put the apple filling diagonally along one half of a pastry sheet, and then fold the sheet in half, into a triangle shape.
Step 5
Enclose the filling by pressing the edges of the pastry together, and then crimp all sides with a fork. Repeat with the other pastry sheets.
Step 6
Mix the egg yolk and water. Put the pastries on a tray, and then brush the egg mixture on top of them.
Step 7
Tap "Send to oven" to preheat the oven.
Step 8
Once you hear a beep, place the tray on the 3rd level of the oven to bake the pastries.
