Instructions

Step 1
Measure out all dry ingredients into mixing bowl and mix until well incorporated
Step 2
Cut up butter into small, pea sized pieces and add to flour mixture. Add Eggs.
Step 3
Mix until incorporated (dough will be crumbly)
Step 4
Now, slowly add heavy cream while mixing until all dough is just incorporated. Do not overmix.
Step 5
Optional: Add two cups of mix-ins (chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, dried cranberries, etc.) mix for just a few seconds so mix-ins are spread evenly throughout dough.
Step 6
Remove dough from bowl and split into two balls.
Step 7
Flatten the balls into disks, approximately 7-8 inches in diameter then cut each disk into 8 even slices.
Step 8
Place slices approximately 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-25 minutes or until slightly golden brown and tops are slightly firm to the touch.
