Instructions
Step 1
Drain tofu and pat dry. Cut tofu into even slices.
Step 2
Marinate tofu in soy sauce, sherry, ginger, and garlic for at least 15 minutes.
Step 3
Mix five spice with bread crumbs.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.
Step 5
Carefully remove slice of tofu from marinade an coat with bread crumbs mixture then place on parchment-lined (original recipe calls for oiled) baking sheet. Repeat with all slices of tofu.
Step 6
Bake 20 minutes. Turn to brown other side.
Step 7
Serve as a sandwich filling or along side vegetables and rice.
