Disneyland Carnation Cafe Fried Pickles

Whether you’re a fan of dill pickles or bread and butter pickles, you can fry and serve up Disneyland’s Fried Pickle recipe along with a house-made zesty dipping sauce.

Ingredients
4 servings
1 ½ teaspoonssriracha sauce
favorite
½ cupranch dressing
favorite
1 ½ teaspoonslime juice
⅓ cupmayonnaise
⅛ teaspooncoarse salt
1 pinchfreshly ground black pepper
2 cupscanola oil
½ cupflour
3eggs
large
1 cuppanko bread crumbs
⅓ cupgrated parmesan cheese
16 ouncedill pickle spears
about 12 pickles, should be uniform in size cut in half widthwise, if necessary
Instructions
Step 1
For Zesty House Sauce:
Step 2
Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl, whisking well.
Step 3
Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
Step 4
For Pickles:

Using caution, pour oil into large skillet and heat to 365°F.
Step 6
Place flour in a shallow dish.
Step 7
Whisk eggs until smooth in a small mixing bowl. Transfer to another shallow dish.
Step 8
Mix panko and Parmesan cheese together in another shallow dish.
Step 9
Lightly dredge each pickle spear in flour.
Step 10
Add pickle to whisked eggs, tossing gently to coat.
Step 11
Add pickle to bread crumb mixture to coat.
Step 12
Place breaded pickles on tray and repeat steps until all pickles are breaded.
Step 13
Carefully place breaded pickles in a skillet and fry until golden brown, 4 to 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with zesty house sauce.
