Instructions

Step 1
Place oats in the container of an electric blender or food processor, cover and process until finely ground. Set aside
Step 2
Beat butter in a large bowl at medium speed using an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well
Step 3
Combine ground oats, flour and next 3 ingredients; gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in 1 package of chocolate chips, grated chocolate and pecans.
Step 4
Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool slightly; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Step 5
Melt chocolate chips to dip each half of cookie, if desired; place on waxed paper to dry.
Step 6
Should make about 9 dozen
