Crumbl 🙀 Cookies & Cream Milkshake Cookies

These cookies and cream milkshake cookies are the ultimate crumbl copycat recipe. This cookie is made with an Oreo sugar cookie then is topped with a cookies and cream buttercream. It is a favorite of all Oreos lovers!

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 1
Line baking sheet with parchement paper; set aside.
Step 2
Cream butter, sugar, & confectioner sugar together until light & creamy.
Step 3
Add in egg & vanilla; mix until combined.
Step 4
Mix in flour, corn starch, baking powder, & salt until flour mixture disappears. Fold in crushed Oreos just to incorporate.
Step 5
Scoop out 8 equally-sized cookie dough balls; place on baking sheet & gently flatten to about ½” thick. ,
Step 6
Bake (11-12 min.) cool cookies on baking sheet (20 min.); transfer to cooling rack.

Frosting

Step 7
Cream butter until smooth; add in vanilla & powdered sugar, whipping until fluffy. (If frosting seems too thick, add ½T cream; whip again. (add more if needed))
Step 8
Mix in crushed Oreos; frost cooled cookies with the Oreo buttercream. Decorate with a mini oreo on top & enjoy!

Notes

Step 9
Freeze cookies unfrosted in airtight container; freeze buttercream separately (up to 2 mo.) Once you’re ready to enjoy these, thaw them in fridge overnight & frost before enjoying.
Step 10
OR… Place finished cookies on baking sheet; freeze (1-2 hr.) until solid. Wrap each cookie with plastic wrap or wax paper; place in an airtight container & freeze (up to 2 mo.) Once ready to enjoy, thaw in refrigerator overnight & enjoy.
