Penne with Broccoli & Bacon

Instructions

Step 1
Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to the boil, add pasta, return to a simmer and continue to cook, stirring regularly for 8 minutes. Add broccoli and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile heat a non-stick frypan over medium heat and cook bacon for 3-4 minutes, until golden.
Step 3
Remove broccoli from saucepan, mash with 1 tbs cooking water and stir through bacon.
Step 4
Drain pasta and toss broccoli, bacon and chilli and adjust seasoning.
Step 5
Divide between two bowls and scatter over parmesan to serve.
