Instructions

Step 1
preheat oven to 425F lightly grease the baking tray
Step 2
sieve the flour and rub in the butter until it resembles breadcrumbs
Step 3
add the fruit and sugar. add milk one tbsp at a time to make a soft dough, using a round bladed knife
Step 4
on a lightly floured surface, knead until smooth
Step 5
shape into a 1.5cm thick circle. cut with cookie cutters
Step 6
place on baking tray. brush top with milk
Step 7
bake for 7-10 minutes until firm to touch, risen and golden brown
