1 ½ tspSalt
1 tspRed chilli powder
1 tspChilli Flakes
1 tspGaram Masala
1 TbspLemon juice
1 tspGinger

Instructions
Step 1
Take any white boneless fish you prefer (basa/ haddock / cod). Wash and dry completely. Cut in a bite size pieces.
Step 2
Add fish in a big bowl, squeeze f resh lemon juice, add crushed ginger and garlic.
Step 3
Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes.
Step 4
In another bowl add gram flour, cornflour , salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, chilli flakes, garam masala, dried fenugreek leaves, yellow food colour, crushed coriander and cumin seeds, and carom seeds.
Step 5
Crack two eggs into it. Whisk it well first and slowly pour water. Batter should be lump f ree and slightly thin consistency.
Step 6
Pour into fish and mix well. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Heat up the oil in a wok on medium heat.
Step 7
Add marinated fish to the oil a piece at a time and f ry on medium heat around 7-8 minutes until golden brown
Step 8
Take out on kitchen paper towl to remove excess oil. Serve hot with raita or chutney. Enjoy
