Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F

Pat the salmon fillets dry and season the flesh side with a pinch of salt and pepper.

In a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat add 1tsp of olive oil. When the pan is hot add the salmon SKIN SIDE UP. Sear on the one side until golden brown, 2-4 minutes.

If your pan is oven safe flip the salmon and place in the oven until salmon is firm and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145°F, 7-10 minutes.

If your pan is not oven safe transfer the salmon to a foil lined baking sheet, seared side up. Roast in the oven till it reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145°F, 7-10 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven and let rest 2 minutes
