Garlic Fried Rice

Instructions

Step 1
Cook rice according to instructions and set aside.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan/wok at medium heat and add the chopped garlic. Sauté until slightly browned and remove from the pan.
Step 3
Cut the tofu into cubes and add to the garlic pan. Add some of the chopped spring onions to the pan and continue to fry.
Step 4
Once the tofu is brown and crispy, add the cooked rice. Fry for a few minutes and then add the peas.
Step 5
After a few minutes, add the soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, MSG, salt and pepper. Mix in well and continue to fry off.
Step 6
Add in the fried garlic.
Step 7
Serve and top with leftover fried garlic and spring onions. Top with a fried egg if desired.
