Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot, boil water for 9 lasagna noodles. Cooke per package directions. Strain.
Step 2
In another pot, brown your turkey and Italian sausage. Drain.
Step 3
With 7-8 slices of pepperoni in a stack, start making cuts, making smaller bits of pepperoni (approximately one inch in size).
Step 4
Add chopped pepperoni to the pot with the drained, browned meat. Stir. Add 3/4 spaghetti sauce and mix well.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 6
In a 9x13 pan, place a generous 1/2 cup of your meat/sauce mixture in the bottom. Spread to cover completely. Add sauce from jar, if needed.
Step 7
Lay out 3 lasagna noodles in the pan to cover meat/sauce.
Step 8
Place dollops of meat/sauce mix and cottage cheese randomly on noodles. Spread until covered.
Step 9
Spread a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over previous layer.
Step 10
Repeat steps 7, 8, and 9.
Step 11
Place the last 3 noodles on top. Place remaining meat/sauce mix on top. Supplement with jar sauce if needed.
Step 12
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Step 13
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes on the middle rack, then start checking to see if cheese is beginning to turn golden. Once golden, remove from the oven.
Step 14
Let cool and sit for at least 10 minutes.
