Step 1
Add 3/4 cup boiling water to Jello and stir until dissolved. Chill until mixture begins to set.
Step 2
Add 8 oz. cottage cheese, 1 cup well-drained crushed pineapple, whands and nuts. Mix wellbyen, fold in Kool-whip (or cream). Tint shade of green you want with green food coloring
Step 3
Turn into 1 quart mold or individual molds. Chill until firm. Unmold on lettuce leaves. May be topped with cherries as garnishment
