Instructions
Step 1
Chop 1 white onion, green onions, gold potatoes and set aside separately.
Step 2
Season potatoes with salt, pepper, onion powder and multi-purpose season and set aside.
Step 3
Cook chopped bacon in until brown on medium heat. Remove bacon pieces and set aside.
Step 4
Add chopped white onions, garlic and 3 tbsp of butter to bacon grease. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
Step 5
Add 1/3 cup of flour to and stir to make a roux.
Step 6
Add 1/3 cup of flour, 2/3 cups of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of milk and 4 cups of chicken broth. Stir until all contents are mixed.
Step 7
Add potatoes and let potatoes cook for 20-30 minutes.
Step 8
Add 1 cup of shredded cheese, bacon bits, chopped green onions and stir in.
Step 9
Add shredded cheese, green onions bacon bits or sour cream to your liking and serve.
