MARINARA SAUCE
Each 28oz can of crushed tomatoes will be one serving for the purpose of scaling this recipe.

Ingredients
3 servings
84 ozCrushed Tomatos
¼ cupolive oil
1 cupyellow onion
chopped
3 tablespoonsminced garlic
14 ozwater
1 ½ tablespoonsitalian seasoning
1 tablespoonsalt
1 tablespoonblack pepper
½ tablespooncrushed red pepper
1 tablespoonoregano
1 tablespoonparsley
1 tablespoonbasil
2bay leaves
⅓ cupparmesan cheese
1 teaspoonsugar
2 tablespoonsbutter
Instructions
Step 1
Sauté the onion in olive oil. When almost translucent, add garlic and stir.
Step 2
Add crushed tomatoes and stir.
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Reduce heat to low. Stir occasionally for two hours.
Step 5
If adding meat, cook meat almost completely through then add to sauce and continue cooking for two hours. Stir occasionally.
