Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies

5 steps
Prep:15minCook:20min
If you’re a fan of chocolate chip cookies that are huge, crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside with chunks of melted chocolate, and that brown butter taste, these are the perfect cookies for you! I used toasted milk powder to get that nutty/brown butter flavor, and stay tuned for when I show you how how to make it!

Instructions

Step 1
Start by creaming your cold cubed butter, sugars, and the toasted milk powder until the consistency looks like playdough.
Step 2
Add your lightly beaten eggs, vanilla, and espresso powder. Mix until just combined.
Step 3
Add your flour, leavening agents, salt, and cornstarch (for thickening). Mix until just combined, do not over mix. Fold in the chocolate chips & chunks.
Step 4
Scoop 1/2 cup sized balls and place on parchment paper. You don’t have to chill these, but I like to let it freeze overnight for the best flavor.
Step 5
In a preheated oven set to 375f, bake for about 18-20min, or until you see the top has browned slightly. Once it comes out, you have to let it cool for at least 10 minutes to set. Enjoy!
