Instructions
Step 1
Beat egg whites in bowl.
Step 2
Add sugar and mix well.
Step 3
Add almond paste and mix.
Step 4
Place pignola nuts on wax paper.
Step 5
Roll oblong pieces of dough on nuts and form into crescents.
Step 6
Place on cookie sheet; cover with heavy brown paper.
Step 7
Bake at 350° until browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 8
Makes 30 to 36 cookies.
