Instructions

Step 1
Cut the cold butter into the flour. You want a sandy texture. Mix in enough buttermilk to make a loose sticky dough. Gently pat out to a thickness of about 1 to 1.5 inches. Cut into rounds and place in a greased pan and brush the tops with melted butter. Bake at 425 for about 15 minutes, until brown on top.
