Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Place cool cast iron skillet in oven with bacon grease in it to heat with oven.
Mix dry ingredients. Add egg, milk and vegetable oil. Stir to combine. Once oven reaches 425, pour some of the bacon grease into the batter and stir. With a small amount of bacon grease remaining in the skillet, pour batter into skillet and return to oven. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
