Instructions
Step 1
Cut chicken apple sausage into rounds. Cut broccoli into florets.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken apple sausage and brown on both sides, about 4 minutes total.
Step 3
Add broccoli and season with salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, until bright green. Add garlic and orzo and toast, about 1 minute.
Step 4
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook 10 minutes, or until orzo is al dente and most of the broth has been absorbed.
Step 5
Stir in parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
