Now this is a fantastic Egyptian dish (honestly one of my favorites). Y'all will be having fun with this one.

Ingredients

Meat Sauce

1 teaspoonbutter

1onion
minced

2garlic cloves
minced

500gground beef

1 ½ cupstomato sauce

1 teaspoonsalt

½ teaspoonblack pepper

¼ teaspoonseven spice
Pasta
Bechamel
Instructions
Meat Sauce
Step 1
Add one teaspoon of butter to a pot on medium-high heat.

Step 2
Next, add in your onion and garlic and cook.


Step 3
Add in your ground beef, then break it up. Cook till browned.

Step 4
Add in your tomato sauce, followed by all your seasonings.




Step 5
Let the sauce simmer for around 10-15 minutes, then set aside.
Pasta
Step 6
To boiling water add your salt and stir.


Step 7
Add in your pasta for 8 minutes. Strain then set aside.

Bechamel
Step 8
To a pot on medium heat, add your butter and oil, and wait till the butter is fully melted.

Add in your flour and mix till there are no clumps.

Step 10
Whisk in your milk gradually, followed by your cream, salt, and pepper.




Step 11
Continuously whisk till you get a nice, creamy consistency.
Assembly

Preheat your oven to 375F

Step 13
In a bowl, mix your pasta with about half of your bechamel.
Step 14
To a tray, add in a layer of your bechamel sauce, followed by a layer of your pasta.

Spread out, then add your meat sauce, and distribute evenly.
Step 16
Follow by more of your pasta, the rest of your bechamel, and some mozzarella cheese on top.
Step 17
Put your assembled macarona into the oven for about 20 minutes.
Serving

Leave to rest for a few minutes, cut your servings, and enjoy!
