Step 1
- In a large pot get 3-4 qts of water boiling with salt

- Add green beans once water boiling and cook for 3-4 min
Step 3
- Remove beans and add to ice water bath (large bowl filled with water and ice), this will stop the green beans from cooking and keep them green. Transfer to a serving plate lined with a paper towel to dry.
Step 4
- In a sauté pan heat oil and butter (optional) with garlic and chili flakes, once sizzling after 2-3min add green beans and mix gently. Then transfer to a serving dish. Crack fresh pepper and ready to serve.
