Instructions

Step 1
Empty cans of tomato sauce and tomato paste into a 4 or 6-quart stock pot
Step 2
Using tomato paste can to measure, add 6 cans of water or broth to the stock pot
Step 3
In skillet, heat 2tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
Step 4
Add onion into skillet, and sautee for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Once the onion has sauteed for long enough, add minced garlic into the skillet and sautee for 1 minute.
Step 6
Once done, take everything in the skillet and dump into sauce pot.
Step 7
Keep heat on medium-low and cover the pot. Cook the sauce for 4 hours, stirring occasionally so sauce doesn't stick.
