Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees

Rinse the corned beef
Step 3
Put the corned beef in an oven proof pot or Dutch oven

Pour the seasoning packet over the meat
Step 5
Add enough water or broth to cover the meat
Step 6
Bring the meat to a boil over medium-high heat

Cover the pot/ Dutch oven and put in the oven
Step 8
Cook for 2 to 3 hours depending upon the size of the corned beef

Once done, place on a platter, plate or sheet pan with a rim. Use tongs to remove from the pot

Pour 1 cup of the broth over the meat and cover with foil. Let it rest while you boil the potatoes in the broth
