Instructions

Step 1
Put tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt and water in a deep dish.
Step 2
Whisk the ingredients manually or with a hand-held mixer until the tahini becomes very smooth.
Step 3
Add 1/2 a cup of the boiled chickpeas to the tahini mixture then mash it together using garlic pestle or potato masher until the mixture becomes very smooth and little thick.
Step 4
Add the rest of the chickpeas while stirring the ingredients with a spoon.
Step 5
Pour the “Msabbaha” into a suitable serving dish and drizzle olive oil on top, Garnish it with crushed chili & parsley.

Preparing the optional Butter & Pine nuts instead of Olive oil:

Step 6
Heat the butter in a frying pan over a medium temperature, add the pine nuts and stir it until becomes a light golden color.
Step 7
Pour the butter and pine nuts over the Msabbaha, serve it with pickles and Arabic bread & pickles.
