Instructions

Step 1
Combine ground beef, parsley, onion 2 tsp salt, paprika, garlic powder, 7 spice, and cumin. Shape in to meatballs or logs and place in a large baking dish. Top with all the veggies. Then in a separate bowl combine tomato paste, tomato sauce, remaining salt and pepper, crushed garlic, and boiling water. Whisk until tomato paste has dissolved, then pour over the meat and veggies. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 400° for 1 hour. Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes then serve with rice or pita bread.
