1 poundground beef
or sausage, we like spicy sausage
1Red pepper

1onion
minced
2 clovesgarlic

3 x 14.5 ouncecans diced tomatoes
drained
2 x 15 ouncetomato sauce
cans, like spaghetti sauce
3bay leaves
1 teaspoonoregano
1 teaspoonbasil
Kosher salt
black pepper
freshly ground, to taste

Instructions
Step 1
• Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add pepper, onion and garlic and sauté.
Step 2
• Add seasonings.
Step 3
• Add browned beef (or brown, then add pepper, onion, and garlic), tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
Step 4
• Enjoy over spaghetti noodles
Step 5
Note: Can also cook using crockpot. Add all ingredients to crockpot; cook for 5-6 hours...or until warm (assuming pre-browned beef).
