Instructions

Step 1
Mix to combine warm milk, honey, instant yeast, flour, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom in a bowl until the dough comes together. You do not have to knead this.
Step 2
Transfer the dough to another bowl with the 2 tbsp of brown butter and let it rest in the fridge overnight.
Step 3
After the dough has risen in the fridge, let it come to room temperature and then transfer to your buttered baking pan. Allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes, stretching the dough every 10 minutes until it reaches the edges of the pan.
Step 4
Preheat your oven to 350f. When your dough is ready, sprinkle some more melted brown butter and press down with your fingers to create wells or dimples.
Step 5
At this point you can get creative with your toppings, and even make art. I topped it with strawberries and rosemary.
Step 6
Bake at 350f for about 25-30min, or until the top has browned nicely.
Step 7
In the meantime, to make the simple honey glaze, combine the honey and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for about 5min, until mixture comes to a simmer. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
Step 8
Once the bread is done, brush with your honey glaze and enjoy!
