Ingredients
0 servings
2 Tbspbutter
5shallots
3cloves of garlic
2 cupschicken broth
1 ½ cupsorzo
½ cupdouble cream
1 cupshredded parmesan
1 Tbsprosemary
honey
2 cupswater
Dry spices
Instructions
Step 1
1. Brown the butter a little bit (med - high heat) throw in your shallots which are very finely sliced until nicely caramelised. Then throw the garlic in at the end.
Step 2
2. Add rosemary and honey, cook it into the mix until it's homogeneous.
Step 3
3. Add orzo, cook for a minute or two while stirring. Add your dry spices! Then throw the 2 cups of broth in with another 2 cups of water. Cook this on med/high until it's reduced a lot (until a spoon run through creates a lane).
Step 4
4. Once reduced add the cream, reduce again until it's near the consistency of a food risotto then throw the Parm in + melt it into the mixture.
Step 5
5. Once it's in + you're happy, serve quickly! It'll go dry fast otherwise. Serve with some fried shallots if you're feeling sexy (optional) but deffo serve it with fresh cracked black pepper, Parm + some chilli flakes! Enjoy
