Peanut Butter Banana Split

This is a hearty dessert. It has a great balance of carbs, protein, and fat. When I originally made this recipe, I only did half the amount of banana (which you see in this video). But I loved them so much I doubled the bananas (which is reflected in this updated recipe). This dessert could even pass as breakfast or a well deserved snack!

Step 1
Start by making the Peanut Butter Yogurt Topping. Whisk together peanut butter, greek yogurt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Step 2
Melt butter in pan at medium-low heat. Then add bananas (sliced into four pieces each).
Step 3
Coat bananas in the melted butter. Then add cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon. Stir to coat bananas evenly.
Step 4
Assemble Banana Split: in serving bowl, add four slices of banana. Top with a dollop of Peanut Butter Yogurt. Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top. Enjoy!
