Instructions

Step 1
Heat oven to 400°F.

Step 2
Slice off the bottom of the artichokes, clip off the tips of the artichoke spears, slice the artichokes in half vertically. Scoop out the fur in the center of the artichokes.
Step 3
Mix together juice of 1 lemon, olive oil, and spices.
Step 4
Place the sliced artichokes cut face up and pour the mixture into the artichokes.
Step 5
Cover with foil and roast for 25 minutes, remove foil and roast for an additional 15-20 minutes or until they are tender.
Step 6
Mix together a tablespoon of lemon juice, sprinkle of garlic salt, and the mayonnaise together.
Step 7
Serve the sauce with the warm artichokes
