Warm berry cobbler

I love baking and one of my favorites is a good berry cobbler with a scoop of a vanilla ice cream. This recipe is very versatile and you can use your favorite berries and add pears or apples to it.

Instructions

Step 1
Mix the berries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt together. In a oven safe pan, add the butter and then berries. Cook for a few minutes.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, vanilla, baking powder, egg yolk and cold butter. Mix with a pastry cutter, fork or by hand. Add milk and mix until you get a crumbly mixture.
Step 3
Add the crumble mixture on top of the berries and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
