Ingredients

Filling
¼ cupfull-fat coconut milk
2 tspvanilla extract
preservative free
2 Tbspmaple syrup
1 TbspMaple sugar
½ tspTapioca powder
or arrowroot
4 cupsgala apples
peeled and sliced
Crumb toping
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease a 9 inch pie pan or an 8x8 inch baking dish with butter or coconut oil
Step 2
To make the filling, combine 5u3 coconut milk, vanilla, maple syrup, maple sugar and tapioca powder in a medium bowl. Add the apples and coat them with the milk mixture.
Step 3
Pour the apple mixture into the pan and place it in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 4
While the apples are baking, make the crumble topping. Combine the butter, coconut flour, almond flour, maple sugar, salt and pecans, if using, in a small bowl and mix.
Step 5
Once the apples have baked for 30 minutes, remove from oven. crumble the typing over the apples and place back in for 20 minutes or until the apples are soft and the topping is browned.
Step 6
Remove from oven and serve warm!
