Instructions

Step 1
Blend onion, celery, and carrots in a blender (for speed and consistency)
Step 2
Fry onion, celery and carrots in olive oil and black butter
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper
Step 4
Deskin sausages and add to the pot
Step 5
Add minced beef to the pot
Step 6
Season with mixed herbs and chilli honey (optional)
Step 7
Add red wine and allow the alcohol to cook off
Step 8
Add canned plum tomato, bay leaves, parmesan rind, basil and chilli
Step 9
Cover the pot and slow cook for 2-3 hours
