Eggs a la Suisse

Old vintage recipe with eggs and cheese. Absolutely Delicious. The recipe is very vintage and therefore not very specific. Here is how I baked it

Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter and cover bottom of skillet with melted butter. Add in milk and mix slightly. There should be enough of this mixture to coat the bottom of the pan. Next place half your cheese across this. Type of cheese does not matter. Pick the cheese that you like. I used cheddar. Next crack eggs on top of this mixture. Leave yolk in tact. Next cover with the rest of the cheese. Bake at 400° for about 25 minutes. The thicker your mixture and the smaller the skillet the longer you will need to bake.
