BREAKFAST TOAST: Çılbır (Turkish eggs) on toast, for a buttery, spicy, decadent way to start your morning Ingredients (1 serving) 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 teaspoons Aleppo pepper (or chile flakes) 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds 2 garlic cloves, minced 3 dollops of full-fat yogurt 1 toast of choice Salt, pepper, vinegar 1 or 2 eggs, cooked to preference, poached eggs are commonly used, but mine was a 6 min boiled egg Parsley for topping Instructions 1. Heat 2 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon olive oil with 1 minced garlic clove, 2 tsp Aleppo pepper, and 1/4 tsp cumin seeds in a pan on medium heat. 2. Take it off the heat as soon as the butter starts to brown, the spices and garlic will continue cooking off heat. 3. Mix three hefty dollops of yogurt with 1 minced garlic clove. 4. Pipe the yogurt over a toast, place an egg or two on top and drizzle all the spicy melted butter on top. 5. Sprinkle some fresh parsley, season with salt, a splash of vinegar, black pepper and enjoy!

Instructions

Step 1
