Instructions
Step 1
Sterilize large tub for storing dip
Step 2
Put on gloves to wash and cut Anaheim peppers
Step 3
Wash Anaheim peppers in water
Step 4
Chop off stems of Anaheim peppers
Step 5
Place stems into composting container
Step 6
Chop the remaining part of the Anaheim peppers into 1 inch size pieces
Step 7
Place the Anaheim pepper pieces into the blender
Step 8
Empty jarred banana peppers into two bowls, separating the peppers from the juice
Step 9
Place the banana peppers into the blender
Step 10
Place ½ of the juice into the blender
Step 11
Discard the remaining ½ of juice (or compost?)
Step 12
Open can of tomato sauce
Step 13
Empty the tomato sauce into the blender
Step 14
Blend for approximately 30 seconds until product is chopped fine and is of a pouring consistency
Step 15
Pour “dip” into a large tub
Step 16
Repeat process into entire batch is complete
Step 17
Stir large tub so “dip” is consistent throughout
Step 18
Sterilize plastic containers
Step 19
Pour “dip” into as many 16 oz plastic containers as needed (sterilize containers?)
Step 20
Seal plastic containers with lids and tamper evident seal.
Step 21
Store packaged dip at refrigerator temperature
