Step 1
Season chuck roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Brown in cast-iron skillet on all sides. Put into the crockpot. Mix together gravy seasoning and 2 cups water. Pour over the roast. Cook for 6 to 7 hours. Shred and put on hoagie rolls along with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles.
