These are a soft + doughy dinner roll (my fav). They are absolutely wonderful with a creamy, cheesy soup.

Instructions

Step 1
Combine warm milk, melted butter, sugar, salt and egg. In a separate bowl combine 3 cups flour and quick rise yeast. Slowly add flour mixture to wet mixture. Then add additional flour (up to 1 cup) until a dough ball forms. (I used 4 cups of flour total but this can vary.) Knead for about 5 minutes, until dough is soft and smooth. Cover dough with a damp cloth, and let rest for 10 minutes in a warm environment before continuing.
Step 2
Divide dough into 16. Form each section into a ball, and place in a greased baking dish. Cover dish with a damp cloth, and let proof in a warm environment until they have doubled in size. (About an hour)
Step 3
Bake at 400F until lightly browned on top (10-15 minutes, depending on your oven) Once the rolls have baked, melt an additional 2 tbsp of butter and brush generously over the top of the rolls. Enjoy!
